Kaitlyn and I have been friends since public school. I was so excited that after four years of being together, her and Mike are engaged! Even more excited when we thought of capturing their engagement photos on our trip to New York that we already had planned together. The morning of their scheduled shoot it was terribly rainy and windy, I thought that their is no way we could capture an engagement shoot at the beach in this weather. Despite my thoughts the forecast looked like it was clearing up and Malori confirmed the weather in Sarnia as I adventured down to meet them at Canatara Park. I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with these two capturing their engagement photos at this hidden gem of a park in London. Looking back on this it was October 1st though it felt like summer and now we are in the middle of winter. In the new year once Spring has arrived this adorable couple will be close to tying the knot!
Although it rained for a better part of the day I absolutely love how the photos turned out! It didn't affect the smiles all around as family and friends watched these two get married and celebrated along with them. It was my last wedding of the season and I hope these newlyweds along with all of the other amazing couples from my 2017 wedding season are enjoying their holidays and have a wonderful Christmas together!
