Hi I'm Shannon!
My love of art has stemmed from when I was a kid. When I was in high school I was President of the Art Club and this passion has just grown over the years. I graduated from Fanshawe College's Photography program in 2011 & I've been lucky enough to have a great start to my photography career from photographing many concerts, local events, fundraisers, commercial work, and a lot more. However, my biggest passion & where I've found my favourite creative outlet is in Lifestyle Photography where I have been able to build a business and dream.
Beyond the lens: I grew up in the country in a house my dad built on a whim of creating his family dream. I could not be happier to be a part of my family, my parents and siblings have always been more amazing than anyone could ask for. Fast forward to me moving to the city, this was definitely a big change but I loved it. I spent 7 years going to school and working before I ended up buying a house with my best friend & love of my life Matt. Now we're attempting to build our dreams, which means the house has been a construction zone, essentially since we've moved in. In all of this though, we've found time for our mutual love of the outdoors, music and going to concerts. Fun Fact – we started dating at a Gob & Seaway concert at Call the Office in London, Ontario. When I have down time, you'll find me road tripping to antique stores, craft breweries and of course spending time with our adorable (and crazy) little dog Violet and the fluff ball cat Lena. (Picture below).
This wouldn't really be a get to know me if I didn't share some movies I love: Phantom of the Opera, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars & my childhood favourite Beauty & The Beast. As well, I can quote almost every line from Seinfeld or Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
With all of that information I hope that gives you an idea of who I am. I'd love to get together and talk photos, and what your vision is!

This dog was so little that she fit in my palm and she looked like a little Holstein Cow when I got her. It was adorable. Though not as a little, she's hyper and just as adorable. If you want to see more pictures – check my Instagram she's everywhere. PS. I'd love to see pictures of your furry friends too!
All the plants
I'm in loveeee with plants and flowers. I can't say I have the best green thumb but I try my best at gardening outside and keep my indoor plants alive and well
I go to bed excited for coffee in the morning, and when I get a chance to get a second one later in the day – I am probably too happy about it.
This little old lady cat came into our house last year and though she's not as photogenic as violet she takes some beauties. Those eyes & fur - adorable. If she's not coming up for petting, she's snoring and cuddled up in some fury blankets that she's decided to blend into.
